DRINKS: The local Peket line (wavy)

WHILST renowned for producing more distinct beer types per head than anywhere else in the world,  it’s Peket, the traditional drink of Liege, that we’d like draw your attention toward. Served in over 25 flavours with an alcohol content that can vary from anywhere between twenty and forty percent, it’s associated mainly with the Summer festivities held yearly in Liege, although that’s not to say it’s not enjoyed the year round by locals and visitors alike! A fantastic place to try this local slant on gin is, obviously, the Maison du Peket in Liege, an establishment dedicated to the art of local brewing.
